Crispy Carrot Chips

Sometimes, you just have to let the oven do the work for you. Really though, the hardest part of making this snack is watching the timer.

Switching things up in the kitchen is much easier when you keep up with it. Instead of grabbing bagged carrots for juicing/baking, I went for the carrot chips to try something new. Falling out of the routine grocery run can be beneficial – it opens one up to more creativity in the kitchen, and it makes grocery shopping interesting, and yes, F-U-N. If you need to grab a friend, do it, because as Spongebob would say… F is for friends who do stuff together… (if you know you know).

Instead of reaching for the potato chips, let’s try:

CARROT CHIPS ?

INGREDIENTS

  • Organic rainbow carrot chips
  • Avocado oil spray
  • Sea salt
  • Black peppercorns

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take out your best pan (I love using my USA Pan) and spray with avocado oil
  • Spread on your carrot chips, spray another layer of avo oil, and sprinkle on your desired amount of salt and pepper
  • Bake for a total of 40 minutes (flipping halfway through), and broil for 2 extra minutes for a crispy CRUNCH
